NRP Committee Meetings
The CIDNA NRP Committee meets the fourth Tuesday of each month** at 3:00 p.m. at Rustica, 3220 W Lake St
**NOTE: The October 2018 meeting has been cancelled. The November 2018 meeting has been changed to the third Tuesday. The new date is Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Rustica.



Neighborhoods 2020
Neighborhoods 2020 is a community process to identify the next generation of neighborhood programming, funding and governance structure to support the City's 70 neighborhood organizations starting in 2020 and beyond.

The agenda for the next meeting of the Program Guidelines, Funding and Implementation work group includes developing recommendations for baseline funding amounts and allocations for activities. The meeting will be held:

Engagement sessions: The three work groups are planning to hold dialogues with the community in the near future. Exact dates have not been set, but they are tentatively scheduled for the week of November 26-30. Engagement sessions will be held prior to the drafting of any recommendations.

Southwest Parks Design Week
November 13-15

Everyone who lives, works or plays in SW Minneapolis is invited to another opportunity to help set the vision for neighborhood parks in the area.
Join your neighbors and friends, Park Board staff and professional designers during Design Week. The Project Team will be working intensively all week to draw new park plans, and you can work together with them during two creative public sessions to develop concepts. Come to one session or both.
The result will be the first drafts of park designs for all 43 park properties in the Southwest Parks Plan.These designs will be refined over the winter and spring, and once finalized, they will guide how neighborhood parks in Southwest Minneapolis are improved in the coming decades.

Kick-Off Workshop

  • This workshop also serves as the 5th meeting of the SW Parks Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

  • Discuss and review ideas in small groups

  • Food and activities for children will be provided

Open Studio
Thursday, November 15, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board HQ, Cedar Room, 2117 W River Rd

  • The design team will throw open the drawing studio doors so you can review draft design ideas and offer additional input during the design process.

  • Food and activities for children will be provided

City Council Public Hearing for Minneapolis 2040
