Southwest Minneapolis Parks
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) published revised concepts for the Southwest Parks Plan.  A single revised concept for each neighborhood park property is now available for review online. Share your comments.
See the proposed concept for the parks in Cedar-Isles-Dean.

Comment on Revised Park Concepts
View the preferred concept for all of the parks in SW Minneapolis. An online survey is available for public feedback. Take the survey.

What happens next? The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet several times to discuss the revised concepts, provide direction to project staff and ultimately make recommendations for each park property. CAC meeting schedule:

  • CAC Meeting #12: Thursday, July 25,  6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pershing Field Recreation Center,
    3523 W 48th St

After the CAC recommendation process, MPRB staff will write the full master plan document and post it online for a 45-day public comment period, which will be followed by a public hearing and final adoption by the Board of Commissioners.
